Strong 8K on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, start to finish
Apple does not permit sideloading, so the route is a player from the App Store with your own values typed into it. The consolation is that a phone makes the best diagnostic instrument in the house.
Have these to hand

Install a player that supports Xtream
In the App Store, look for a player whose description mentions Xtream Codes and not only playlists. There is a handful worth having, nearly all free to try with a one-off unlock, and every one of them reads the same line. Nothing about the subscription is tied to any of them, so trying two costs nothing but a minute. Check while you are there that the player exposes a decoder option and a buffer setting, because one that hides both leaves you nothing to adjust on the evening a single channel starts misbehaving.
Add your line
Choose to add a playlist or an account, pick the Xtream option, and copy in the three values your Strong 8K account page shows. The wording varies by developer - one calls it an Xtream account, the next an API login, a third buries it behind a plus button - but the three fields underneath are identical in all of them.
Keep it as your diagnostic instrument
When a channel misbehaves on the television, switch the phone wireless off, let it drop to mobile data, and open that same channel there. A picture on the phone rules out the line and the source in one move, and points everything that follows at the wiring in your own house. No picture on either means the stream itself is at fault: send the channel name and skip the network questions altogether.
Worth knowing
- Pick one player and stay with it. Troubleshooting is far easier against a configuration you know than against whichever app was installed most recently.
- On an Apple TV, enter the details with the phone keyboard when iOS offers it rather than with the on-screen letter wheel.
- Keep a configured player on the phone whether or not you ever watch on it. During an outage it answers, in about a minute, the only question anybody needs answered first.
